--(6084) Bascom--discovery and notes:

Primary discovered 12 February 1985 by C. S. Shoemaker and E. M. Shoemaker from Palomar Observatory, California, USA, but identified in prediscovery observations to 1950. Alternate designations 1985 CT, 1992 BM1, 1978 EC6.

Secondary discovered by D. Higgins, P. Pravec, P. Kusnirak, L. Sarounova, S. Gajdos, A. Galad, and J. Vilagi based on lightcurve observations made 29 December 2005 to 2 February 2006; announced 6 February 2006.
