--(6244) Okamoto--discovery and notes:

Primary discovered 20 August 1990 by T. Seki at Geisei, but identified in prediscovery observations to 1933. Alternate designations 1990 QF, 1952 SG1, 1987 SL25.

Secondary reported by D. Higgins and P. Kusnirak, Ondrejov Observatory NEO Photometric program, announced 19 October 2006, based on lightcurve observations from 26 September 2006 to 3 October 2006.
