Primary discovered 20 April 1999 by LONEOS program from Lowell Observatory, Arizona, USA.
Companion discovered from lightcurve observations 23 April-18 May 1999 from Ondrejov Observatory by P. Pravec et ali and from Table Mountain Observatory by M. Hicks and D. Rabinowitz.
