Named 2014 Oct 08 for the town in Ishikawa, Japan [MPC090378].

Companion discovered 2022 Sep 12 by V. Benishek and P. Pravec using lightcurve observations from Sopot Observatory, Serbia. Announced 2022 Nov 12 [B22m].
