--(311066) 2004 DC--discovery and notes:
Primary discovered 16 February 2004 by the LINEAR program at Socorro. Permanent number assigned 9 January 2012.
Companion discovered by P. A. Taylor, J. L. Margot, M. C. Nolan, L. A. M. Benner, S. J. Ostro, and J. D. Giorgini on 2 June 2006 based on radar observations from Arecibo and Goldstone. P. A. Taylor et al. have reported a shape model for the primary based on these observations.
