The solution is represented by the formula (flux) = (power)/(area), or (area) = (power)/(flux).
Thus, 3,200 W divided by 77 W/m2 = the answer.
Now consider a compact car. Its average power requirement, while operating, is 18,000 W. How much collecting area is needed to provide this power?
