Terragen Pictures

These are some of our early experiments with Terragen by Planetside Software, a program for generating landscape scenes. It basically generates fractal landscapes and cloud patterns and uses realistic lighting calculations, all according to settings easily adjusted by the user. The latest version of Terragen (by M. P. Fairclough), version 0.8.68 (when I wrote this), may be downloaded free from Planetside Software. The images on pages 1-6 use Terragen version 0.8.11. Those on pages 7-13 use Terragen version 0.8.44 along with (in some cases) the plugin WaterWorks version 1.3 by Jo Meder, also available on line. Those on pages to come will use Terragen version 0.8.68...
