Description:

A foreign company dumped chemical wastes at the Koko port in Nigeria, some of which contained radioactive materials. Examination showed 26 workers who handled the wastes suffered chemical injuries along with slight injuries attributable to radiation exposure.

Consequences: 26 injuries.
