Description:
A male patient underwent several procedures using fluoroscopy (two coronary angiographies, a coronary angioplasty, and a coronary artery by-pass graft) in the same day. About one month later the skin became reddened on his back, eventually developing a small ulcerated area. The localized dose probably exceeded 2000 rads.
Consequences: 1 injury.
