Description:

A bomb exploded on a ship carrying Jewish immigrants while it was in the harbor of Haifa, British Palestine; while the bomb was intended to disable the ship so the passengers could not be sent away from Palestine, it caused the ship to sink, killing 267 and injuring 172.

Consequences: 267 killed, 172 injured
