Description:

Tamil Tigers attacked crowds in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, with automatic weapons. Those attacked were mostly Buddhist worshippers and monks at Sri Maha Budhi. The terrorists were dressed in army uniforms and drove through the area firing into crowds.

Consequences: 150 killed, 85 injured
