Description:

Rebels derail and attack a train 130 km southeast of Luanda, Angola. The train was derailed by a planted bomb and set on fire, after which Unita rebels attacked the train. At least 152 were reportedly killed and 146 injured.

Consequences: 152 killed, 146 injured
