Description:

Terrorists attacked a refugee camp in northern Uganda, killing 239 and injuring 60. The group, the Lord's Resistance Army, drove off the camp's militia and then set fire to huts. Most of those killed were civilians hiding in huts set ablaze.

Consequences: 239 killed, 60 injured
