Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared en route from Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, PR China; on 15 March authorities reported that the plane was detected flying to the west over the Indian Ocean with its fate undetermined as of June 2014.

Consequences: 239 missing presumed dead
